The method and depth depend on the agreed engagement. A review, an assessment and active authorized testing have different boundaries; we make those explicit before work starts.
WHO IT IS FOR.
Teams responsible for an application, API or cloud environment who can authorize a clearly bounded review.
WHAT WE CHECK & DO.
- Object and function-level authorization
- Token handling, validation and rate controls
- Error output, exposure and abuse cases
WHAT YOU RECEIVE.
- API scope inventory
- Authorization test notes
- Prioritized API findings
Final deliverables and acceptance criteria are agreed in the proposal. Recommendations and implementation are separate unless explicitly included.
THE PROCESS.
- 01Confirm written scope and authority.
- 02Agree methods, test windows and stop conditions.
- 03Review and validate evidence safely.
- 04Report findings and plan remediation.
EXPECTED TIMELINE.
1–3 weeks
This is an indicative planning range, not a delivery promise. Scope, access, product complexity, feedback and release constraints determine the confirmed schedule.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU.
- Written authorization from the asset owner
- Asset inventory and explicit exclusions
- Test accounts and role descriptions where needed
- An operational contact and agreed test window
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED.
- Testing outside written authorization
- Disruptive techniques without explicit agreement
- A compliance certification or guarantee of no vulnerabilities
- Remediation implementation unless separately scoped
OPTIONAL ADD-ONS.
- Remediation engineering
- Targeted retesting
- Security architecture workshop
CONNECTED SERVICES.
BEFORE WE START.
What is a cybersecurity audit?
A scoped review of an application or system’s controls and risks. It can include architecture, configuration, authentication, authorization and operational practices. The agreed scope determines whether active testing is included.
What is VAPT?
Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing combines identifying weaknesses with agreed attempts to validate their impact. The label alone does not define coverage: assets, methods, permissions and deliverables must be written down.
Do you require written authorization before testing?
Yes. Active security testing requires written authorization from an appropriate owner, a defined asset list and rules of engagement. A public website or a form enquiry is not permission to test it.

We’ll help define the work.
