WE BUILD
SOFTWARE
THAT SHIPS.
PlaneByte designs, engineers and launches custom software across web, mobile, desktop and games—and helps teams secure, improve and grow the products they already have.
Software architecture assembled from interface, application, API, data and infrastructure layers.
ONE STUDIO.
MULTIPLE
PLATFORMS.
We build our own products. We help companies build theirs. One connected team, from the interface to the infrastructure.
SaaS platforms, dashboards, marketplaces and web applications. Built around the workflow, from the interface to the infrastructure.
Browser interface connected to application logic, APIs, data and delivery.
BUILD.
SECURE.
GROW.
IMPROVE.
Bring us the ambitious idea, the hard problem, or the thing that should work better.
Assemble the interface, application, API, data and infrastructure into one product.

Security Audit vs VAPT vs Penetration Test: Choosing the Right Scope
Compare security audits, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing by the question, access, permission and evidence each engagement should produce.
What a useful cybersecurity audit should actually deliver
How to agree scope, distinguish an audit from VAPT, and turn evidence into prioritized fixes and a meaningful retest.
API security: the problems automated scanners often miss
Review ownership, roles, business flows and resource costs—the context a scanner cannot infer from endpoint responses alone.
BEFORE WE
START BUILDING.
What does PlaneByte build?
Websites, web applications, SaaS, Android and iOS apps, desktop and macOS software, games, developer tools, APIs, backend systems and AI-enabled workflows. We also help teams secure, improve and grow existing software.
Does PlaneByte work with startups and build MVPs?
Yes. A useful starting point is one customer, one important job and one complete workflow. We can help define a first release and explicitly separate it from later features.
Can you work with an existing or partially completed product?
Yes. We begin by reviewing the codebase, deployment, known issues and ownership/access arrangements. The first deliverable may be a recovery or modernization plan rather than a rewrite.
Do you build Android and iOS applications?
Yes. Scope can include onboarding, app workflows, APIs, device behavior and release preparation. Device coverage, store submissions and ongoing maintenance are agreed for each engagement.
Do you build desktop and macOS software?
Yes. We scope the supported operating systems, installation/update path, local data and integrations before choosing the implementation approach.
Do you develop games?
Yes. We work on gameplay systems, progression, interfaces and interactive experiences. A prototype should establish the core loop before expanding content and distribution.
