The conditions for using PlaneByte’s informational website. Separately agreed commercial terms govern client work.
PlaneByte’s website provides information about its projects, products, software services, technical insights and contact opportunities. These Terms of Use govern use of this informational studio website. Individual products and paid engagements may have separate terms.
Browsing the site or reading an article does not create a client relationship. If a separately agreed engagement contract applies, that contract governs the agreed services, deliverables, payment, ownership and other commercial matters.
Submitting a form, sending email or sharing an initial brief asks PlaneByte to review the request. It does not automatically create a contract, reserve delivery capacity, set a price, require PlaneByte to perform work or establish an NDA or other confidentiality relationship.
Before sharing sensitive material, agree appropriate confidentiality and sharing arrangements. A project starts under separately agreed scope, responsibilities and commercial terms. Service-page timelines are indicative planning ranges, subject to the actual scope, dependencies and review process.
The portfolio distinguishes PlaneByte-owned products, internal builds, experiments, concepts and client work where those categories are present. A project description or feature direction is not a promise that every feature is publicly released. Current availability may need confirmation.
Illustrative artwork is presented as artwork, not a product screenshot or evidence of customer results. Project technology descriptions reflect the published portfolio information. Search, launch and security services do not guarantee rankings, citations, revenue, absence of vulnerabilities or a particular commercial outcome.
PlaneByte’s branding, logo, original website design, articles and artwork are protected by applicable intellectual-property law to the extent owned by PlaneByte or its contributors. You may browse the site and share links; broader reuse or commercial reproduction may require permission unless applicable law or a stated licence allows it.
Client materials and third-party marks, libraries, fonts and other components remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and licences. These terms do not claim ownership of client intellectual property or override open-source permissions. Ownership and licensing for commissioned work are agreed in the relevant engagement contract.
Use the site lawfully and respect its operation and other people’s information. Do not attempt unauthorized access, impersonate another person, submit malicious or abusive content, distribute malware, evade access controls or automate requests in a way that disrupts the service.
Normal browsing, linking and legitimate search-engine indexing are permitted. Public access is not permission to probe for vulnerabilities or run intrusive security tests. If an automated use could materially load the service or collect non-public information, obtain appropriate authorization first.
Security articles and related material are educational and informational. They do not authorize testing of any system. Apply security assessment techniques only to assets you own or are explicitly authorized to assess, within the agreed scope and applicable law.
Technical guidance depends on context, versions and assumptions. Evaluate it against your own system before making changes, especially where data, access or availability could be affected. An article is not an individualized security assessment, legal opinion or certification.
Provide information you are authorized to share and use accurate contact details so the studio can respond. Do not send credentials, payment-card details, unnecessary sensitive personal information or confidential third-party datasets through a public form. Optional brief URLs should lead only to appropriate material.
You retain your rights in material you provide. By sending it for review, you permit PlaneByte and the service providers described in the Privacy Policy to process it for reviewing and responding to the request. No broader ownership transfer is created by an enquiry.
The site may link to project resources, source repositories, app stores, social networks or other third-party information when such links are configured. Those services are controlled by their respective operators and may change independently.
A link does not imply an endorsement, partnership or guarantee of the third party’s content or availability. Review the third party’s terms and privacy information before using its service or supplying information.
We aim to keep information useful and current, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or absolute accuracy. Features, service descriptions and project information can change. Confirm important details with PlaneByte before relying on them for a commercial decision.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the public website and its informational content are provided without additional warranties beyond those the law requires. This does not limit any express commitments in a separate engagement agreement.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PlaneByte is not responsible for losses arising solely from reliance on general website information, ordinary interruptions or third-party services outside its control. Responsibility for paid work is addressed by the relevant engagement agreement.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts a liability or right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Any assessment of responsibility remains subject to applicable law and the facts of the particular matter; these terms do not create a blanket waiver of legal protections.
Personal information submitted through the website is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Optional analytics is governed by the site’s consent controls. Declining analytics does not prevent browsing or making a legitimate enquiry.
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to revisit your choice. Separate product or client-service processing may be governed by additional notices or agreements appropriate to that service.
We may update project information, services and these terms as the studio and website evolve. Material revisions to the terms will update the effective/last-updated date shown on the page. Review the current version when using the site.
Changes to public website information do not silently amend a separately signed engagement agreement. Any changes to contracted work follow the agreement’s own process.
These website terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any mandatory law and rights that apply to you.
Where a specific engagement requires an agreed dispute process or jurisdiction, that should be set out in the separate agreement.
Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@planebyte.com or through the Contact page. For a product or account issue, use Support and describe the problem without including passwords, OTPs or secrets.
