How this studio website handles the information you share, the services involved and your available choices.
PlaneByte operates planebyte.com as an independent product and technology studio based in India. This policy covers the studio website and its enquiry/support forms. Individual software products may publish their own notices for their own processing.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@planebyte.com. PlaneByte is the operating brand used on this site.
When you submit a project or support enquiry, the form can collect your name, email, company, website, requested service or support topic, project stage, budget and timeline selections, description, referral source and an optional brief URL. Not every field is required. The request also includes your consent confirmation and an operational reference.
The brief field is a link, not a file-upload service. Include only material you are authorized to share. Do not send passwords, OTPs, API keys, payment-card information, unnecessary sensitive personal information or personal datasets through these forms. If more sensitive material is necessary, ask us to agree a suitable sharing method first.
We use the information to understand and review your request, assess whether an engagement is appropriate, communicate with you and provide requested support. We may keep the correspondence to manage follow-up, document agreed work, resolve issues and meet applicable legal requirements.
The form does not subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list. Sending a message does not create an engagement or confidentiality agreement. You can browse public pages without submitting a form, and optional analytics consent is not a condition of contacting us.
Your browser sends the form to the website hosted on Vercel. The application validates the request and uses Resend to send an email to PlaneByte’s business mailbox, contact@planebyte.com, hosted through Hostinger. The sender email is used as Reply-To so the studio can respond to you.
This website does not save enquiries in an application database or publish a web inbox. Resend processes email content and delivery information, and the receiving mailbox retains correspondence according to its settings and business handling. A confirmation means the delivery provider accepted the request; it does not establish that a person has read it.
Network and hosting services receive information needed to serve requests, such as IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, browser information and operational errors. Vercel may process hosting, security and operational logs according to its service settings and policies.
For enquiry protection, the application derives a keyed identifier from connection information to bind a short-lived form token and enforce temporary per-instance request limits. These identifiers are held in memory and expire; they are not included in the enquiry email. The implementation also uses validation, a honeypot, bounded request bodies and duplicate-request protection. These measures do not make submitted data anonymous.
When configured, Google Analytics loads only after you choose to allow analytics. It measures page views and selected interactions, such as catalogue views and form-related events, to help us understand use of the website. Google may process identifiers, cookie information, device/browser information and network-derived information under its own service terms.
The application’s event mapping excludes form content, names, email addresses and URL query strings from events it sends. Advertising signals and advertising personalization are disabled in the application configuration. Analytics should not be described as anonymous: technical identifiers and provider processing can still relate to a browser or device.
Vercel provides website hosting and request processing. Resend provides transactional email delivery. Hostinger hosts the business mailbox. Google Analytics provides optional analytics after consent. Google Fonts supplies the typefaces used on this site and receives browser requests for those resources even if analytics is declined.
These providers process information for the functions described here and may have their own operational records. People within PlaneByte who need to review or respond to a request can access relevant correspondence. We do not sell enquiry information or use the form to create an advertising audience. Links to other sites are governed by those sites’ own notices.
Enquiry correspondence is kept according to the need to review and manage the request, maintain relevant business records, resolve disputes and satisfy applicable legal duties. There is no automatic mailbox deletion period implemented by this website. Avoid sending information that is unnecessary for those purposes.
Analytics retention depends on the configured Google Analytics settings; hosting and delivery records depend on the respective provider settings and applicable obligations. We do not publish an exact period that has not been verified. A deletion request may require us to retain limited records where a legal duty or legitimate unresolved issue applies; we will explain relevant limits when responding.
Email contact@planebyte.com to request information about your data, correction of inaccurate details, deletion where applicable, withdrawal of consent or review of a privacy concern. Include the request reference or enough context to find the correspondence, but do not send unnecessary identity documents.
We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns your information before disclosing or changing records. Available rights, exceptions and response requirements depend on applicable law in force. If we cannot fully carry out a request, we will explain the relevant reason rather than promise an outcome the law or provider arrangements do not support.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the website, including encrypted website transport, server-side validation, controlled email delivery and limits on form requests. Provider access and mailbox handling also form part of the data path.
No internet service can promise absolute security. If you believe you have found a security issue, send a brief non-sensitive description through Support or email contact@planebyte.com. Do not test systems without authorization or send working exploits or confidential evidence through an initial public enquiry.
Hosting, email, fonts and analytics providers may process data in countries other than your own, depending on their infrastructure and service arrangements. This website does not claim that all data stays in India or identify data-center locations that have not been verified.
Applicable transfer requirements depend on the law and the relevant provider arrangements. Contact PlaneByte if you need more information about processing in the context of a proposed engagement; a separate client agreement may establish additional requirements.
The studio website and its business enquiry forms are directed at people evaluating professional technology services and product work. They are not designed to collect information from children. We do not ask visitors to create a child profile or provide age information.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information that should not be held, contact us so we can review and address the matter. Individual PlaneByte products may have different audiences and require their own notices and safeguards.
India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have phased commencement. As of this policy’s update date, the framework is not uniformly in force: the Gazette provides immediate, one-year and eighteen-month commencement stages for different provisions.
This notice describes current website practices and provides a contact route for requests now. It does not assert that PlaneByte has completed a formal compliance assessment, nor treat every future statutory provision as already enforceable. We will review the notice and operational arrangements as applicable requirements take effect.
